narrowed his brow at the other, the question flew over his head. “oi, manly is my concept! i’m not adorable and cute like teddy bears.” fingers firmly grip the rim of the hat, cerulean hues twitched at the older male.
He can’t help it – he freaking laughs at the response he gets from the tiny violinist; shoulders shaking, stomach clenching, eyes tearing – the works. Who knew this kid was so hilarious?
It takes him more than a few moments to calm down, grin playing upon his lips. “That’s not what I meant, Syochin.” A small snicker escapes his lips, taking a breath to settle down. “I asked you what you think ‘manly’ is.”
Maybe it was just a good day. The fact that he didn’t have to do any kind of stupid shit to get some food from his bandmate. It was surprising to say the least but he’d just go with it. He hadn’t ate since he left his apartment that morning and was hungry to say the least. At Reiji’s mention of the food, he couldn’t help the fact that his ears perked up. All the while waiting, he could smell the food that would soon be in his stomach making him grow even more impatient for it.
Glancing up when the brunet had stepped back over to him, his jaw fell open at the words. Of course. Of course it wouldn’t be as easy as he originally had thought.
A mix of a glare and pout came over his face as he sat there looking at his source of food for the moment. “How about no? Hard to do something that I can’t find words for.”
Oh, look at that pout. It’s priceless – absolutely priceless – to see such an expression on his face. He wants to laugh, but he holds it back; he needs to see just how far he can carry this little prank of his. Of course he wouldn’t let him starve, but he just can’t help but to tease him a little and see how far he can take it.
His lips curve wider as he moves the plate from behind his back, tilting his head in intrigue. “No?” He repeats the word as his fingers move to pick off a piece from the plate, swallowing his laughter as he tries to remain coy. “So you don’t want any food? I worked so hard on it.” And he pops the piece in his mouth, making a show with his ‘mmm!’ to express just how delicious it is.
“You’re missing out, Ran Ran! All you have to do is say one nice thing. One nice thing about my food or me!” Will he get what he wants? He’ll have to wait.
“sadly no one. hats are just an optional, not everyone would wear it on a daily basis y’know. but i don’t wear ‘cute’ hats but i like ‘manly’ hats.” here comes the beam of sunshine, Syo had no escape from Reiji. stuck there until someone decided to rescue him.
He wants to laugh; the style of his hat along with those hairpins were nothing aside from ‘cute’ in his opinion, but he decides to keep it to himself.
“Oooh?” His lips curve into a wider smile, letting his amusement be known. “It’s still a nice hat either way.” He gives a small hum, laughter bubbling from him. “How do you think being ‘manly’ is, Syochin?” There’s genuine curiosity on his face as he awaits for what he assumes will be a grandiose answer.
