RAN RAN:
Why did he have to deal with this? It was so tempting to just get up and walk away. So very tempting. It was the easier choice to make. He was actually really close to doing it until Reiji decided to pull the whole unveiling of the food infront of him. Going as far as to eating some of it infront of him. Along with the stupid satisfied hum to go with it.
He wasn’t stupid. He knew what was going on. He was never to fond of the whole fishing for something deal. But hunger was outweighing his annoyance of it at the moment.
“Fine.” He wasn’t about to give in fully. Instead, he looked the other male up and down, shaking his head when he was done and his view settling on a wall behind Reiji.
“Your shoes. They’d look nice lodged with your foot up your ass. That good enough?”
His teeth find his bottom lip in response to the
‘compliment’ he gets, trying to hold back the
flood of laughter that threatens to come, but
it’s too late. It comes from his mouth in a second
and he nearly falters from how funny it was even
with the compliment being half-assed.
It’s not the compliment he wanted, but it’s so him
that it’ll do. For now.
“Aren’t my shoes great though? They weren’t cheap!”
He’s beaming as he moves to place the plate down at
long last, putting down chop sticks along with it. “Thanks
for the compliment, Ran Ran! As your reward, you get to
eat.” He moves to sit next to him, adding thing in addition,
“Oh, and we’re sharing it.” After slaving over a hot stove,
he better not mind. “Go ahead; I know you’re hungry.”
